It is our vision that we replace homicide by firearm as the number one cause of death for individuals between the ages of 15-44 within the black and brown community. By encouraging healthy life choices and showing an alternative path to peace and conflict resolution, we will eradicate gun violence amongst our most vulnerable populations.

Advance Peace San Joaquin is a chapter of the national organization Advance Peace, which was formed in 2009. Each chapter is dedicated to ending cyclical and retaliatory gun violence in American urban neighborhoods. All chapters throughout the nation invest in the development, health, and well-being of those at the center of this crisis.
